Happy Mothers Day!!! Today is the day we celebrate the hard working mothers out there!  Mothers day has been celebrated all around the world for over a hundred years. The modern mothers day holiday started in the 20th century because of Anna Jarvis. She organized the first mothers day worship service and a celebration at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Which is the international Mother's Day Shrine today!  I appreciate my mom/mommy for her supportiveness and kindness. She has always been their for me and supports me in everything I do. She goes out of her way to take the time to play and hang out with me and my sister (my dad does to don't worry!). She does drop off everyday and does her calls in the car if she has to.  I can always talk to her about whats on my mind knowing she will listen and understand. She is always ready to try something new and include me in all activities. I am so lucky that she is my mom and am very lucky t...

Hello everyone, I have not written in a while so I wanted to write a new post. I currently am in the 5th grade and have a new obsession of pigs I mean who doesn't love them? This started out with me making pig drawing for a special literacy lesson in school piggy backing! I became a huge pig lover along with my other friends. We even started a pug painting business the classroom I have recently acquired new interests such as volleyball. I was a bit unsure when trying it but it has turned out to be really fun. I never liked competitively things so trying an new sport that was competitive felt uneasy.  I am definitely still learning and much to improve. I am loving the sport and I have been trying out new sports. I am only 5 weeks into volley ball and recently I told my dad "I am not good at volleyball maybe it isn't my sport" and sarcastically he said " Yeah everyone figures out their sport 5 weeks in" . I decided he was right I did not to be a professional ...

Book suggestions

Hi guys I realized that I have not posted in a while. I have been reading this Michell  Obama book for young readers and I have been really enjoying it. I also have book recommendations for kids. I suggest reading The One and Only Ivan, New Kid, and Paws. I hope you read one of them! Thank you!

Open to suggestions

Hi Everybody, I am writing another blog post and as the title says I am open to comments.  If you want me to write about something you want to learn about or any other suggestions please let me know. I just got some feedback from my Uncle Chat.   He asked me to write about a strong woman that changed the world.  Also, my Aunt gave me sone good feedback.  I did not want to read history books, but my Aunt said I should read about it to learn and understand how the world works. I also want to thank my Aunt Seema, Uncle Chat, Cousins Ria, Kavya, and Nilan, and Aunt Rinku.  Thank you for always making me smile and supporting me.  Especially my Uncle and Aunt who gave me a whole yes day.  And my other Aunt on my Mom's side who always gives me a yes day when I come.  And all the kids who play with me and make me smile. I also want to thank Kira, who may not be in my family, but feels like a sister to me.  She always has my back.  And...

Introduction

Hello! Welcome to my blog!  I am Satu.  I am 8 years old.  I am in the Third Grade.   I love to create with my family.  Recently I made something called the "Piano Stairs" that my Dad and I made together. I have been going through a lot of moving.  At my first house we painted the garage floor and also designed the walls of our garage. In addition to handmade crafts, I enjoy using my computer to watch movies.  Some of my favorite movies are:  High School Musical, Zombies, and Descendants. You may have heard of those movies, but besides just watching shows. I like to use my computer for productive things including checking spelling and doing math. My cousin and I made a top secret file about our family and we have our own spy agency. Thank you for reading.  That's all for now.
